Announcing the 13th annual Littoral Press Poetry Prize

First place: 50 letterpress-printed broadsides of the winning poem. Three honorable mentions will receive earlier Littoral Press broadsides. $10 entry fee for first poem; $5 for each additional. Poems may be previously published. Maximum length: 30 lines. Mail poems & check to 622 26th St., Richmond, CA 94804, postmarked by 8/15/20. Include a separate cover sheet with your contact info & title(s); do not put your name on the poems. Poems will be recycled, not returned, so no sase needed. Final judge: Terry Lucas, 2019-2020 Marin County Poet Laureate. Results will be announced at by 9/30/20, and the winning entries will be posted here.

Terry Lucas is the author of two full-length poetry collections: Dharma Rain (Saint Julian Press, 2017) and In This Room (CW Books, 2016). His two prize-winning chapbooks are Altar Call (San Gabriel Valley Literary Festival, 2013) and If They Have Ears to Hear (Southeast Missouri State University Press, 2012). The Thing Itself, a collections of new and selected poems in collaboration with photographs by Gary Topper, is forthcoming from Longship Press in November of this year. His poems, reviews, and essays have appeared in numerous national literary journals. An excerpt of his memoir, Flight, appears in the current issue of Great River Review, Minnesota’s oldest literary journal.
